Google Business Profiles Showing Blank Review Dashboards

Google business profile owners see a message in their reviews dashboards saying “You don’t have any reviews yet” even when their public listings still show hundreds of reviews.

Complaint threads began increasing on the Google Business Profiles community forum on July 9, as people reported that the reply panel shows no reviews, while the list above shows the number of public reviews.

In one case reported by Amy Tomana volunteer Google product expert, the list showed 916 reviews at the top and “no reviews yet” in the response section directly below.

In the cases reported so far, the number of public notices has remained the same even when the dashboard panel displays none. Google has not confirmed the cause and it does not affect all managed profiles.

The biggest model

This is the second review issue to impact school profiles in about a week. Around July 3, people reported a different problem where the number of reviews disappeared from live listings and some profiles were unable to accept new reviews.

On this previous issue, Google confirmed that there was a problem. Toman said Google was aware of the missing reviews. On July 9, she posted an update that Google considered this issue resolved and expected reviews to come back, although it suggested waiting a day or two.

Display bug or deletion

The two problems are similar but have different causes. A display bug leaves the review in Google’s system but prevents it from showing, while a deletion removes the review, often after spam detection systems flag a profile.

You can tell them apart because a dashboard issue may disappear once Google fixes the interface or the data catches up. If reviews are removed from the public list, the next step is to document what is missing and contact establishment information support.

Why it matters

Reviews are really important when it comes to helping others decide whether to choose your listing over a close competitor. If your dashboard appears blank, it may seem like you’ve lost that trust signal, even though your public listing hasn’t changed. Checking the live profile first can help you determine if it’s just a display issue or if there are actually fewer reviews.

Looking to the future

Google still hasn’t explained the cause of the current dashboard issue or said when it expects the review board to return to normal. In the meantime, you can check the dashboard against the public list to confirm if reviews are missing or not appearing in the management interface.
