Today I’ve put together a list of several easy remote work tasks you can do for some of the AI training and data collection companies.
This is usually a temporary, project-based job that you complete in a few weeks or months at most (some even less than that), but it can pay well and earn you money quickly.

Short-term tasks and projects you can do remotely
TELUS Digital – Online Data Analyst. UNITED STATES. Part-time, independent, long-term. Search, verify, and compare information online to help improve the quality and accuracy of digital maps and other AI-related content. Pay not listed (similar TELUS AI projects typically yield around $14.00 per hour). No prior work experience is required, but you must pass an open book assessment and identity verification. Requires strong English skills, residency in the United States for 5 consecutive years, online research skills, and a computer with a reliable high-speed Internet connection. Read TELUS Review.
Outlier – AI Trainer – Blind and Low Vision. United States (excluding Texas, Illinois and Washington). Flexible, Contract 1099. Test an AI visual assistant using an Android phone, evaluate how accurately it describes real-world scenes, and provide feedback to improve accessibility for blind and visually impaired users. Pay up to $35.00 per hour. Requires blindness or low vision, regular use of assistive technologies, an Android smartphone with a camera, and fluency in English. Paid via PayPal or AirTM. Outlier – Expertise in English writing and content review for AI training. United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand. Flexible, Independent contract 1099. Write natural prompts, review and rank AI responses, and help improve AI models with content writing and review tasks. Pay up to $15.00 per hourwith additional incentive opportunities. Requires good English writing, analytical thinking and attention to detail. Experience writing, editing or reviewing content is preferred. Paid weekly.
Aligner – Map and Location Data Analyst. UNITED STATES. Independent, 10 to 40 hours per week. Review AI-generated addresses, place names, and map data, identify errors, and use your local knowledge to improve the accuracy of location information. Pay between $40.00 and $120.00 per hour. No GIS or AI experience required. Requires knowledge of your area, close attention to detail, basic online mapping skills and clear written communication. Weekly payments with flexible scheduling. Aligner – Product Evaluation Analyst. United States (remote). Independent, 10 to 40 hours per week. Review AI-generated product reviews, descriptions, and comparisons, rate them for accuracy and quality, and provide feedback to help improve AI recommendations. Pay between $40.00 and $120.00 per hour. No prior experience in AI, retail, or e-commerce is required. Requires attention to detail, strong written communication skills, familiarity with online shopping and the ability to work independently. Weekly payments with a flexible schedule.
AI Scales – Subject matter expert. United States and Canada. Part-time, hourly, per project. Review and audit AI-generated work, assess quality, identify issues, and help improve quality standards and grading guidelines for AI projects. Pay not listed. Requires in-depth expertise in a specialized field (such as medicine, law, or engineering), strong analytical skills, and attention to detail. Experience in quality assurance or auditing is preferred. Flexible schedule with the possibility of choosing your own hours.
DataForce by TransPerfect – Gardenia Speech Collection. UNITED STATES. Temporary freelance project (about 30 minutes). Record short wake-up phrases and scripted voice commands to help improve AI voice assistant technology. Pay $25.00 for a completed and approved recording session. You must be at least 18 years old, a native American English speaker born and living in the United States, have access to a cell phone and a quiet place to record. Payment is available by PayPal, gift card or check.
Datavio – Voice data collector – French Canada. Canada. One-off independent project (about 25 to 30 minutes). Record short French sentences online to help improve speech recognition technology. Pay $35.00 USD via PayPal once your registrations have been reviewed and approved. Requires being of French-Canadian origin, bilingual in English and French, living in Canada and having a computer or smartphone with good audio quality.
Datavio – iOS Reviewer. UNITED STATES. Independent, 10 to 15 hours per week (flexible). Test iPhone apps using step-by-step scenarios, report bugs, and provide feedback to help improve mobile apps. The salary is according to the approved evaluation (price not indicated). Requires fluent English, an iPhone, a reliable internet connection, a high school diploma or equivalent, familiarity with mobile apps, and strong attention to detail. Independent contractor position.
OneForma – Project Rover – Video Data Collection. Global. Independent and one-off project (about 1 hour). Upload or record real-world videos that follow project guidelines to help train AI systems that understand environments, movements, and navigation. Payment is a fixed amount per approved video (price not indicated). Requires the ability to provide original, royalty-free videos, meet technical requirements, review footage before submission, and properly label each video. The work is entirely remote.
