8 – Bonus Tip – Check out FlexJobs to find even more well-known companies that hire writers to work from home
Flexible jobs is one of my favorite sites for finding remote writing and editing jobs with real, reputable companies. Unlike general job sites, every advert is verified by a human before going live – no scams, no adverts that don’t turn out to be far away after all.
For writers in particular, FlexJobs regularly offers freelance, part-time and full-time roles in content writing, copywriting, editing, proofreading and technical writing.
The companies posting here are well-known employers, and the salaries tend to be better than most content platforms.
Here’s what’s worth the small fee:
- Each ad is examined and verified before it goes live
- Announcements include independent, part-time and full-time writing and editing roles
- No ads on the site — clean, distraction-free job search
- Updated five days a week with hundreds of new remote jobs
- Try it just to $2.95 for 14 full days – cancel at any time if it does not suit you
Writing opportunities move quickly, so apply as soon as possible. You can also browse our full writing assignments page for even more options.
