Recently, a reader gave me the idea to research and compile a list of work from home jobs that offer sign-on bonuses. I thought this was a great idea, so I looked around today to see what was out there.
I’ve found a handful of different remote jobs that have a sign-on bonus advertised if you’re hired. Unfortunately, most of the options below are aimed at people with specific qualifications and experience. But even if there’s nothing below that suits you or that you’re qualified for, keep in mind that job leads changes all the time!
After listing jobs that offer signing bonuses below, I’m adding a section to tell you how to continue to find others that offer them at any time.
The way to research companies that offer signing bonuses is pretty simple if you’re comfortable with searching different job sites, but I know some people would still like instructions. You will therefore find them at the bottom of this article.

Another thing I want you to keep in mind is that even if a company offers you a sign-on bonus, they will almost never give it to you on the day you start working.
Most companies won’t give you your sign-on bonus until you’ve worked for them for a month or more. Indeed, there is always the possibility that you will not like the job and quit during the first few weeks. Which would mean that they no longer have this money!
This is a risk they generally don’t take, although there may be some exceptions.
So keep in mind that if you find a job below that you would like to apply for, you will likely need to work for the company for a set amount of time before receiving the sign-on bonus.
Work From Home Companies That Offer Login Bonuses
CVS Health – Remote Customer Service Representatives
CVS Health is hiring a remote customer service representative to help health plan members, employers, doctors and providers with their benefits and claims questions. This is a full-time position paying $18.50 per hour.
In this role, you will answer incoming questions, resolve issues, educate customers about their benefits and available resources, document all interactions, and work with other departments to improve outcomes as necessary.
To qualify, you must have at least 6 months of customer service experience and basic computer skills. Experience in healthcare or in a contact center is a plus but is not required. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
THE Benefits package includes $2,000 sign-on bonus after 9 months of continuous employment, plus medical, dental and vision coverage, paid time off, retirement savings options and wellness programs. The equipment is provided. Training varies from 4 to 18 weeks depending on your role.

Northwestern Medicine – Remote Ambulatory Coders
Northwestern Medicine is hiring a Remote Ambulatory Coder II to handle complex medical coding for outpatient visits, including day surgeries and observation stays. This is a full-time day position paying between $29.13 and $39.32 per hour.
In this role, you will review medical records and assign correct diagnosis and procedure codes using the ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 systems, send queries to physicians when documentation requires clarification, and meet accuracy standards of at least 95 percent.
To qualify, you need an RHIT, RHIA, or CCS credential through AHIMA as well as 3-4 years of coding experience in an acute healthcare setting.
The benefits package is really solid and includes $10,000 sign-on bonus$10,000 in student loan repayment, $10,000 in annual tuition reimbursement, medical, dental and vision coverage, $401,000 match and paid time off.

Files.com – Remote Integration Manager
Files.com is looking for a Remote Integration Manager to lead a team of Integration Engineers on enterprise-level software deployments for major brands. This is a full-time leadership role focused on leading your team, ensuring successful client operations, and building long-term client relationships.
On a daily basis, you will track customer calls, review deployment plans, identify issues as early as possible, and coach your engineers in finding solutions in real time.
To be considered, you must have strong experience in SaaS integration, technical customer success, or implementation management, as well as experience leading teams. This is a leadership position with a high bar for candidates.

Empower – Remote Workplace Planning Consultant
Empower is hiring a Remote Workplace Planning Consultant to help clients make decisions about their retirement savings accounts, including 401ks and IRAs. This is a full-time telephone role where you will guide people through key financial moments like starting or ending a job and help them understand their account options.
In this role, you will educate clients about retirement plan options, discuss account strategies that align with their savings goals, and work to deepen their relationship with Empower over time.
To qualify, you need a bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience, at least one year of experience in a performance or goal-oriented role, and the ability to obtain FINRA 7, 63, and 65 licenses within the company’s required time frame. Existing FINRA licenses are a plus.
Salary ranges from $58,100 to $79,850 per year as base salary with additional bonus potential linked to performance. Sentara Health – Remote Medical Assistant
Sentara Health is hiring a Remote Medical Assistant to support its Telehealth Services team. This is a full-time day position where you will perform patient care and administrative tasks under the supervision of physicians, nurse practitioners, and registered nurses.
In this role, you will provide virtual patient care, manage administrative and clerical tasks, assess patient situations, and follow department policies and procedures to ensure safe, quality care is delivered via telehealth visits.
To qualify, you must have a high school diploma and one of the following certifications upon hire: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA), or EMT Basic certification. No prior experience is required beyond certification. Basic Life Support certification is required within 90 days of hire.
